Full-Time (40 hours/week), Hourly, Non-Exempt. Location:

Base Rate: $25.64/hr – $0.50 bilingual (bilingual not required)
- Provide support and assistance to survivors of gender based violence throughout the housing search and move in process.
- Maintain compliance with HUD standards for housing units
- Be the liaison between landlords and property managers for client’s housing needs
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or college course work in social services field or equivalent combination of education and experience in housing industry. Candidates should have knowledge of sensitivity to sexual assault and domestic violence issues, trauma, gender equity and/or other forms of oppression. Understanding and application of program theories such as trauma-informed care, feminist, and anti-oppression/anti-discrimination frameworks are
Desired: Bilingual, bi-cultural and bi-literate skills highly preferred. Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese languages. Prior experience of working in Santa Clara County housing market and understanding Santa Clara County geography. Motivational Interviewing skills highly preferred.
Required: Cleared background check (fingerprinting), valid TB test, valid California driver’s license, and auto insurance. Must have completed or be willing to complete a 65-hour California State Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Counselor certification. (Training will be provided). This position requires a Covid-19 vaccination due to the in-person interfacing required, and to promote the health and safety of others in the workplace and our community.
