CONFIDENTIAL EMERGENCY SHELTER
YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley Emergency Shelter is a safe respite for individuals and families with children fleeing or attempting to escape domestic violence. The shelter focuses on providing trauma informed and client centered services (with a special focus on family resiliency services) to all survivors who wish to partake.
FAMILY RESILIENCY SERVICES INCLUDE
- 1:1 Therapy and Counseling
- Holistic Acupuncture & Chiropractic Services
- A Window Between Worlds Family Groups
- Children Support Groups
- Volunteer-lead groups such as self-care and mindfulness, employment support, and bilingual psychoeducational support groups.
The YWCA shelter is proudly LGBT friendly, and is a safe space for persons of all genders.
