Childcare Site Supervisor
REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
A cleared background check (fingerprinting), valid TB test, Tdap, Influenza MMR, a valid 3+ years California driver’s license, reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and auto insurance. This position requires a COVID-19 vaccination due to the in-person interfacing required to promote the health and safety of others in the workplace and our community.

Reporting to the Program Director, the Child Care Site Supervisor provides a high-quality childcare program by delivering a culturally competent and research-based STEAM curriculum.
We are seeking Child Care Site Supervisors who are compassionate, organized, and reliable individuals with a high level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of a team. You must understand feminism and a strong commitment to social justice. Additionally, an ideal candidate will possess knowledge of and sensitivity to domestic violence and sexual assault issues, trauma, gender equity, and client-centered service provision.The ideal candidate is a warm, self-starter deeply committed to providing services from a strengths-based, social justice and anti-oppression framework.
Candidates must the requirements:
- A Site Supervisor permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
- 15 semester units (or equivalent quarter units) in ECE/CD, which must include: Infant/Toddler Care & Development (3 units minimum)
- 4 years experience with children under the age of five.
- Ability to be certified in all mandated association training, including but not limited to child abuse prevention, blood-borne pathogens, and mandated reporting.
- MMR, Pertussis, influenza, and Adult TB risk assessment.
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to become certified)
- 2 years of supervision experience.
- Experience working in a Title V program and the ability to execute on CMR with the State.
- Ability to be certified in all mandated association training, including but not limited to child abuse prevention, blood-borne pathogens, and mandated reporting.
Work hours are primarily Monday-Friday. Schedule TBD. Delivery of service may include overtime to accomplish the task at hand. Work includes lifting up to 30 pounds. Susceptible to compassion fatigue and/or vicarious trauma.
