YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley supports families with quality, licensed childcare for infants through preschool age children.
We’ve been providing child care for nearly 70 years. Our program is dedicated to fostering children’s learning through S.T.R.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Recreation, Engineering, Art & Math) based activities, providing opportunities for hands-on, active exploration and discovery in a variety of learning and constructive play activities. We strive to create a safe and socially just environment where children learn to understand, value, and create a society where all people are treated equally.

OUR STAFF AND ENROLLMENT
Our childcare providers have a combination of Early Childhood Education (ECE) college or job units and professional experience working in a licensed child care center. All providers are required to undergo thorough screenings including reference checks, finger printing, and security background checks. We adhere to California state law to screen potential staff and volunteers for child abuse convictions.
