Limited Tickets Available for YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley’s 2025 Inspire Luncheon, with Guest Speaker Amanda Nguyen

Activist and Astronaut, Amanda Nguyen, Speaks at Fundraiser for YWCA

San Jose, CA — July 29, 2025 — YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley invites community members to purchase a ticket or table for the 2025 Inspire Luncheon presented by Cisco taking place on October 1, 2025 at the Santa Clara Convention Center and will include a 45-minute moderated conversation with activist and astronaut, Amanda Nguyen.

As one of the Bay Area’s most influential fundraising events, the Inspire Luncheon brings together more than 800 community changemakers, business leaders and advocates to commemorate the nonprofit’s community impact while raising critical funds that help YWCA to advance equity, empower women and families, and support survivors of violence on their path to healing and justice.

This year’s luncheon is made possible through the generous support of Cisco, whose long-standing partnership with YWCA continues to drive forward progress in the movement to eliminate racism and empower women.

“The Inspire Luncheon is a rallying point for collective action,” said Adriana Caldera Boroffice, CEO of YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley. “Every ticket purchased and every table sponsored fuels programs that provide safety, healing, and opportunity for survivors and families in our community. This year marks our 35th luncheon and it comes at a pivotal moment when services for survivors of violence—and nonprofits in general—are confronting urgent challenges driven by unstable funding sources and escalating requirements that are met with an increasing need for support.”
