Support groups provide a safe space to focus on improving emotional wellbeing by practicing mindfulness, age-appropriate coping skills, and self-care through conversations, art, and games in community.

OUR SUPPORT GROUPS

all groups are currently virtual

This support group focuses on learning the dynamics of domestic violence (DV) and teaches tools to break out of certain patterns, while also encouraging survivors to become more independent
Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30pm

This support group provides a safe and supportive space where survivors can openly discuss their shared experiences and learn about various ways to recover from sexual assault.

Tuesdays, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

This support group provides self-care techniques to help individuals become aware of different aspects of themselves that impact their daily lives. The topics covered in this group will include developing a sense of ego awareness, self-regulation, and focus on learning coping skills.

Thursdays, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

This support group is for parents and loved ones of trauma survivors, to help gain an understanding of how to support their children. The group is focused on domestic violence and sexual assault education, coping skills and grounding techniques.

Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

This group is a confidential space where LGBTQIA+ survivors can feel safe in their intersecting identities. Survivors can connect and support one other as they share about their common experiences and the ways that people heal from sexual assault and abuse.
Adult group (mid 20’s +): Saturdays, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
TAY group (Transitional Age Youth, 18-mid 20’s): Mondays, 5:00-6;00 p.m.

Este programa para padres y seres queridos de sobrevivientes de trauma para entender a sus hijos/hijas en como apoyarlos. Nos centraremos en la educación DV/SA, las habilidades de afrontamiento y las técnicas de conexión a tierra.

Martes, 12:30-1:30pm

Este programa busca mejorar la autoestima de adultos mayores con actividades y temas de autocuidado , afrontamientos saludables

Jueves, 4:30 – 5:30pm

Healing Through Art

This no-cost workshop is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can express yourself through creative art-based activities.

Workshop is available to schedule on an as-needed bases.
