Support Line
What to expect
Our Support Line provides free, confidential, and nonjudgmental support for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking. You may remain anonymous if you choose, as we don’t require you to provide identifying information. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and safe speaking with us. If you choose to provide identifying information, please be aware that mandated reporting laws apply in situations involving suspected child abuse, elder or dependent adult abuse, or when there is an intent to harm yourself or others.
When you call, a trained, confidential advocate will provide compassionate support, answer questions, and help you explore your options. Depending on your needs, we may provide:
- Emotional support and crisis intervention
- Information about sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking
- Education on survivor rights and options, both within and outside the criminal justice system
- Safety planning
- Brief assessments for emergency housing eligibility
- Referrals to YWCA programs and other community resources
Due to high call volumes, calls are typically focused on addressing your immediate needs and connecting you with the most appropriate next steps. If ongoing support is needed, we will discuss available services and referrals with you.
